The Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame will launch the 2026 Pennsylvania Music Industry Summit, a one-day professional development and workforce development event designed to empower, connect, and amplify musicians, music industry professionals, educators, students, and creative entrepreneurs across Pennsylvania.
Scheduled for November 8, 2026, at The Englewood in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, the Summit will bring together attendees from throughout Central Pennsylvania and neighboring regions including State College, Wilkes-Barre, Harrisburg, Hershey, Lancaster, York, and surrounding communities. The event will provide direct access to industry experts, educational resources, career development opportunities, and professional networking designed to strengthen Pennsylvania's music ecosystem.
Programming will include educational sessions and panel discussions focused on artist management, touring, booking, social media and digital marketing, artificial intelligence in the music industry, professional development, artist wellness, and music business fundamentals. Attendees will gain practical knowledge and industry insights that can be immediately applied to career development and business growth within the creative sector.
The project will feature partnerships with nationally recognized organizations including The Recording Academy's Philadelphia Chapter, MusiCares, and Behind the Scenes. Representatives from these organizations will provide educational programming and resources focused on mental health, financial wellness, career sustainability, and support services available to music industry professionals. Additional collaboration with the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) will help connect emerging musicians, educators, and students to professional opportunities within Pennsylvania's creative economy.
